PROSPECT, Ky. – The Western Michigan golf team wrapped up the Nevel Meade Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday at the Nevel Meade Golf Club.
The Broncos finished with a final round of 335 for a 36-hole total of 659 (+80). Oakland and UIC tied for first, with Bellarmine in third place. After that, places 4-8 were separated by just 10 strokes, with WMU just two strokes out of the top five.
Individually, graduate student was Western Michigan's top finisher. Samdal opened with a 79 and then shot an 85 to close out the tournament for a 164 (+20).
