Troy, AL. - The Kent State men's basketball team (12-12, 5-6 MAC) was defeated 68-78 by the Troy Trojans in their final game of the MAC-SBC. The Flashes will have a by-week before their final MACtion stretch.
Despite four lead changes and five ties, the Flashes' biggest lead was only by two points in the first half. The Flashes were able to take advantage at the charity stripe shooting a nearly perfect 90 percent going 20-of-22. The Flashes dealt with fouls, allowing the Trojans to record 24 points from the foul line. The Trojans dominated inside the paint with 40 points while the Flahses only had 22 points.
